Dr. Stafford Goldstein is well known among his patients and colleagues for his expertise and caring bedside manner in managing patients with all digestive tract problems. Dr. Goldstein is consistently named a “Top Doctor” in the treatment of gastrointestinal diseases by Washingtonian Magazine. He has previously been honored with a Patients’ Choice Award having been selected as one of Virginia’s favorite physicians
Dr. Goldstein completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the George Washington University. He has been elected as a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP) and a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology (FACG).
He evaluates patients for all digestive tract problems with a particular interest in colon cancer prevention through colon cancer screening, gastroesophageal reflux disease, and peptic ulcer disease.
Dr. Stafford Goldstein attributes his diagnostic proficiency to his listening skills and the value he places on input from patients. Stafford S. Goldstein, MD is passionate about continuing education and training in the most up-to-date diagnoses and treatments so that his patients always receive a well-informed opinion.
When not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters. Dr. Goldstein is an exercise enthusiast, and can be found biking a century bike ride with friends or training for a triathlon.
